YOUR ROLE

The HRIS, Payroll & Benefits Systems Specialist is responsible for end-to-end payroll processing and HR systems administration, ensuring accurate payroll delivery, data integrity, and statutory compliance. The role acts as the functional subject matter expert for HRIS, payroll, timekeeping, and benefits modules, supporting system configuration, reporting, controls, and continuous process improvement. The position works closely with HR, Finance, IT, and external vendors to maintain efficient and compliant payroll and HR systems operations.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO

HRIS & Systems Administration

  • Administer and maintain HRIS, payroll, timekeeping, and benefits system configurations and parameters.
  • Maintain pay elements, statutory tables, workflows, and user access controls.
  • Support system updates, enhancements, and testing activities in coordination with IT and vendors.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality of HR and payroll data.

Payroll Processing & Compliance

  • Execute end-to-end payroll processing including regular payroll, off-cycle runs, and final pay.
  • Validate payroll inputs including earnings, deductions, allowances, and benefits.
  • Ensure proper calculation and timely remittance of statutory contributions and taxes.
  • Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and finance-related payroll files and postings.
  • Coordinate with Finance and external agencies on payroll and statutory requirements.

Benefits & Timekeeping Systems Support

  • Maintain payroll-related benefits and deduction configurations in the system.
  • Validate benefits and timekeeping data interfaces impacting payroll.
  • Support benefits and payroll vendor coordination and file validation.

Reporting & Data Controls

  • Generate standard and ad hoc payroll, benefits, and workforce reports.
  • Perform payroll and HR data validation and reconciliation across systems.
  • Support audit requirements and compliance checks through accurate records and reports.

Process Improvement & Documentation

  • Maintain payroll and HRIS process documentation and SOPs.
  • Recommend and implement process and workflow improvements to strengthen controls and efficiency.
  • Document system changes and configuration updates affecting payroll and HR data.

Issue Resolution & Functional Support

  • Serve as primary contact for payroll and HRIS-related issues and discrepancies.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll and system errors in coordination with HR, Finance, IT, and vendors.
  • Provide functional guidance to HR and payroll users on system processes and updates.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll and HRIS administration.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliance (DOLE, BIR, and related regulations).
  • Experience in HRIS (Success Factors) and payroll systems configuration, reporting, and controls.
  • Advanced Excel and data reconciliation skills.
  • Experience in compensation and benefits administration is an advantage.
  • Basic accounting knowledge preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder coordination skills.
