Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HRIS Application Manager to lead the technical delivery and integration of Workday within our global IT landscape. The role requires a strong blend of IT expertise, HCM knowledge, and leadership skills to ensure seamless system implementation, integration, and ongoing support across regional and global teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- IT Coordination & Leadership: Manage all IT activities, resources, and technical aspects related to the HRIS program.
- Technical Advisory: Advise functional teams on Workday configurations, tenant setup, system features, and impacts of new releases.
- Integration & Systems Management: Lead interface planning, execution, and integration with legacy systems; coordinate system decommissioning.
- Global Collaboration: Work closely with regional and global teams across infrastructure, IT security, and service management to ensure successful Workday adoption.
- Problem Solving & Support: Troubleshoot post-production issues, orchestrate support cases with Workday and third-party vendors, and develop technical solutions.
- Service Delivery & Vendor Management: Participate in planning and review of user support services and manage vendor relationships.
- Documentation & Knowledge Management: Maintain technical documentation, design documents, and system guides.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in IT technical delivery, integration, or related roles
- 3 years of leadership experience leading technical teams and projects
- Proven experience in end-to-end HRIS project implementation, including integration and application management
- Expertise in HCM applications, Workday, and IT architecture (work day experience is non-nego)
- Strong understanding of IT security, infrastructure, service management, and system integrations
- Ability to implement projects across multiple regions (APAC, US, or other time zones depending on the project)
- Handling at least 45 people
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders
- Authorized to work lawfully in the relevant jurisdiction
- Plus: experience working with Japanese clients is a bonus, but not required
- Experience with multicultural teams and international environments is a plus
