Job Description

We are looking for someone who has a strong processing background. We would like the person to have experience in processing Australia and East Asia.

This role is a key processional responsible for managing payroll process for employees across various countries

within APAC region, preferably with experience in Australia payroll. This role requires a strong understanding of

diverse payroll regulations, tax laws and compliance requirements specific to each country. They ensure accurate,

timely and compliant payroll disbursements, working closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure

seamless operations.

  • Act as the primary contact for payroll enquiries, providing, professional advice on pay and benefits for

Australia

  • Process fortnightly payroll, including file preparation, validations, and timekeeping review.
  • Partners with the payroll vendor and ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll and EFT releasing.
  • Handle employee transactions: new starters, separations, terminations, payslips, and payroll updates (e.g.,

bonuses, movements, updates).

  • Collaborated with people leaders for leave and attendance approvals to ensure correct payment to

employees

  • Respond to employee, HR, Finance or leaders inquiries via email and chat daily.
  • Generate EOP reports, maintain payroll folders, email correspondences and monitoring files
  • Updates the Contact Authorization Listings when necessary
  • Perform EOFY updates and saves payroll reports for accounting documentation.
  • Registers employees with no super member number to MLC.
  • Prepare headcount and absenteeism/leave reports as per request.
  • Supports the completion of PWC audit requirements.
  • Reports to team leadership all events, updates, timelines, issues, risk and mitigations that has an impact to

overall payroll operations.

  • Ensures confidentiality of records.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or Specialist in Australia and other APAC countries.
  • System Proficiency: Strong experience with payroll software (e.g., Jeonsoft, Workday, ADP) and MS

Excel.

  • Legislative Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Fair Work Act 2009, NES, and tax legislation.
