Loft is looking for a General Accountant who will be responsible for managing the full accounting cycle of assigned clients, ensuring accurate, timely, and high-quality service. The role also involves coordination across internal teams, client onboarding, process improvements, and participation in special projects that enhance financial operations and reporting. Key Responsibilities
- Lead client onboarding and ensure a smooth setup of accounting systems.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing timely and professional support.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports such as Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss Statements.
- Record, post, and reconcile transactions across sales, purchases, and payroll.
- Manage tax, sales, and payroll compliance in accordance with BIR and government regulations.
- Support month-end and year-end closing, as well as internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements for greater efficiency.
- Take on special projects and other accounting-related tasks as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 23 years relevant experience in general accounting or external accounting services.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, BIR tax compliance, and statutory reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., Juantax +, Xero, or similar platforms) and MS Excel and Google Sheet.
