About the Role
We are hiring for our client who is building a new internal engineering team. As one of the first employees, you will play a key role in developing robust internal tools and automations that are critical to daily operational success. Beyond coding, you'll contribute to product vision, solution design, and engineering excellence, helping to shape the foundation of this growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Stack Development Deliver code on both backend (PHP) and frontend (React.js).
- Solution Design Assist in creating and updating solution design documents.
- Ownership & Communication Take responsibility for your work while collaborating closely with product teams.
- Service Maintenance Maintain existing services in the tech stack, gradually increasing ownership.
- Adaptability & Learning Embrace new technologies and challenges, with a strong focus on learning quickly.
Requirements
- PHP Frameworks (Symfony or Laravel) Intermediate knowledge
- ReactJS Basic to intermediate knowledge (willingness to grow)
- Solution Design Basic understanding, knowing when to ask for help/review
- Testing Pyramid Understanding of when and how to implement/document tests
- Lifecycle Management Familiarity with Jira, Atlassian, or similar tools
- Problem-Solving Skills Strong pattern-based thinking, fast learner
- Communication Skills Ability to refine requirements and align with product teams
Optional Skills (Nice-to-Have)
- Experience with Node.js and TypeScript
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Intermediate SQL knowledge (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- System automation (software integrations, cloud automation)
