Job Summary

Responsible for providing IT support to BDO branches, business units and subsidiaries, including problem identification,troubleshooting, and ticket documentation. He addresses and resolves IT-related problem calls, projects, requests, and activites assigned to him. He is also responsible for monitoring and escalating, as needed the issues and concerns raised by users to his immediate superior. He is tasked to respond to requests for service or assistance within service level standards. He is also responsible for activity queue schedule, assignment, planning, supporting project implementation and other operational maintenance activities for his area.

Key Responsibilities

• Field Operations
• Complete assigned preventive and corrective maintenance tasks and requests.
• Answer user inquiries regarding computer software and hardware to resolve problems.
• Assess the readiness of a site to accept installation of IT equipment and make recommendations to address deficiencies or incompatibilities.
• Preparation of equipment for use, performing installation of hardware, operating systems, and appropriate software.
• Preparation of necessary tools, spare parts, equipment, software before attending to problem calls and requests such as installations, relocations, etc.
• Review service call history of the machine and recommend improvements to immediate supervisor.
• Manage queue of activities to comply with schedule requirements.
• Prepare incident reports for critical incidents handled.
• Escalate problems and requests that are beyond the defined standards and processes.
• Project Support
• Handle projects such as new branch implementation, relocation, renovation and consolidation of branches, ATM installation, relocation, pull-out, line upgrade.
• Prepare and submit all documents related to the assigned project.
• Provide regular status updates on assigned projects to Field Operations lead or project managers.
• Supplies Management
• Manage the supply of replacement parts and replacement units, required by his area are available.
• Request updating of records for issued and received equipment for proper accountability
• Conduct review and update of Supplies Level, Inventory, and IT equipment for pullout of his assigned area.
• Other administrative Functions
• Submit timesheets, liquidation of expenses, reimbursements and other documents on-time.
• Perform other related functions that may be assigned from time to time
  
  

Qualifications

• Graduate of BSCOE, ECE or equivalent.
• Two years experience preferred but not required in an IT field work assignment or repair center and strong background in IT equipment troubleshooting.
• Experience gained from service company, bank or other financial institution is an advantage.
• Must be willing to work onsite and be assigned in Makati/Ortigas
