Job Description

A prestigious and well-established banking institution is seeking an accomplished Enterprise Architect at AVP-VP level to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of its enterprise technology landscape. This is a rare opportunity for you to influence strategic direction, drive large-scale transformation initiatives, and ensure that business objectives are seamlessly aligned with IT capabilities.

What you'll do:

As an Enterprise Architect based in Ortigas Center, Pasig City, you will serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership while orchestrating the design and evolution of enterprise-wide technology frameworks. Your day-to-day activities will involve close collaboration with both business stakeholders and technical teams as you translate strategic objectives into actionable architectural blueprints. You will oversee the establishment of governance models that ensure all technology initiatives adhere to industry best practices while remaining adaptable to changing market demands. By leading major transformation projects-ranging from application modernisation to infrastructure upgrades-you will help future-proof the bank's operations. Your ability to evaluate new technologies critically will inform investment decisions at the highest levels. Success in this role requires exceptional communication skills, deep technical acumen across multiple domains, and a passion for nurturing collaborative relationships that drive sustainable progress.

  • Define and maintain a comprehensive enterprise architecture roadmap that aligns closely with both current business needs and forward-looking digital strategies, ensuring adaptability in a rapidly evolving financial landscape.
  • Establish robust architecture governance frameworks, standards, and best practices across applications, data management, integration layers, and infrastructure domains to promote consistency and compliance throughout the organisation.
  • Partner effectively with business leaders and cross-functional technology teams to design and deliver innovative solutions that are not only scalable but also meet stringent security and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead transformative technology modernisation initiatives within a traditional banking context, overseeing the migration of legacy systems to more agile platforms while minimising operational disruption.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies on an ongoing basis, providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership regarding their potential impact on business operations and competitive positioning.
  • Coordinate diverse project teams across multiple disciplines to ensure architectural consistency, execution excellence, and timely delivery of critical milestones.
  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process optimisation within architecture practices, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Support risk management efforts by embedding security considerations into every stage of solution design and implementation, proactively addressing vulnerabilities before they impact operations.

What you bring:

To excel as an Enterprise Architect in this influential role, you will bring extensive experience gained from senior positions within banking or financial services institutions. Your background should reflect hands-on involvement in developing holistic architectural strategies that span applications, data integration points, and infrastructure layers. You possess not only technical proficiency but also outstanding interpersonal skills-enabling you to bridge gaps between business visionaries and IT specialists. Your approach is grounded in empathy for stakeholder needs combined with a commitment to upholding rigorous standards for security and compliance. A strong educational foundation underpins your expertise; additional certifications further demonstrate your dedication to professional growth. Above all else, your collaborative spirit ensures that every initiative benefits from shared knowledge and collective insight.

  • Demonstrated experience as an Enterprise Architect or senior architecture leader within banking or financial services environments, showcasing your ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes while delivering value-driven solutions.
  • Comprehensive understanding of established enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF along with practical experience implementing governance models that foster standardisation across large organisations.
  • Proven track record designing architectures spanning applications, data management strategies, integration patterns, and underlying infrastructure components within mission-critical settings.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management abilities complemented by clear communication skills that enable you to build consensus among diverse groups including executives, project managers, developers, and external partners.
  • Capacity to translate high-level business strategies into detailed technical roadmaps that guide successful solution delivery without compromising scalability or security.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline; advanced certifications (such as TOGAF or similar) are highly regarded for this leadership position.

Due to the high volume of applications we are experiencing, our team will only be in touch with you if your application is shortlisted.
