Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect who is both strategic and hands-on. This role is ideal for someone who can operate confidently across business and technology, provide architectural leadership, and help organizations navigate complex transformation initiatives.

You will be hired under our company and assigned to work closely with a client organization, supporting enterprise-wide architecture initiatives in a dynamic, evolving environment.

This is not a documentation-only role.

You will help shape enterprise direction, guide critical decisions, and bring clarity to ambiguity.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Enterprise Architecture Direction

  • Define and shape enterprise architecture across Business, Data, Application, and Technology domains
  • Develop target architectures and pragmatic, business-aligned roadmaps
  • Establish or strengthen architecture discipline within the organization

Own Data & Technology Architecture

  • Lead Enterprise Data Architecture, including conceptual and logical data design
  • Support data governance, ownership, standards, and quality frameworks
  • Shape technology platform and cloud strategies with focus on scalability, resilience, and security
  • Provide structured architectural reasoning, balancing cost, risk, value, and future readiness

Modernize & Rationalize Technology Landscapes

  • Assess current application and technology portfolios
  • Drive modernization, simplification, and rationalization initiatives
  • Define keep / replace / retire / consolidate strategies
  • Reduce complexity, duplication, and legacy risk

Govern Architectural Decisions

  • Participate in or lead architecture governance forums
  • Provide clear, grounded decision guidance
  • Challenge misaligned decisions professionally when needed
  • Ensure architectural alignment throughout execution

Stay Engaged Through Execution

  • Remain involved as initiatives move from planning to delivery
  • Update architectures as conditions evolve
  • Collaborate closely with PMO, delivery teams, and business leaders
  • Ensure architecture remains relevant under execution pressures

Operate Effectively in Ambiguous Environments

  • Work effectively where structure and processes are still forming
  • Bring clarity and direction without unnecessary bureaucracy
  • Manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders concurrently
  • Engage confidently in global and multicultural environments

Mentor & Influence

  • Mentor junior architects, analysts, and team members
  • Promote strong architecture practices through influence and collaboration
  • Lead through expertise, credibility, and professionalism

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or large-scale transformation roles
  • Demonstrated experience across multiple BDAT domains
  • Strong hands-on experience in:
  • Enterprise Data Architecture
  • Technology and Cloud Architecture
  • Proven experience in:
  • Architecture governance
  • Application and portfolio rationalization
  • Working across business and IT stakeholders
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale transformation programs
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly
  • Experience working in hybrid, consulting, or staff augmentation environments

Certifications (TOGAF or equivalent) are a plus, but practical experience, sound judgment, and real-world impact are more important.
