E-commerce Specialist (Shopify, SEO & Paid Media)
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM PST, with a 1-hour break
Salary: $ 1,000/month
Job Overview:
The E-commerce Specialist executes and optimizes the DTC eCommerce channel, supporting revenue growth across Shopify, organic search (SEO), and paid media (Google Ads). This role partners closely with the E-commerce Manager to translate strategy into results, while proactively identifying opportunities to improve traffic, conversion rates, and customer lifetime value.
The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on execution with a focus on Shopify optimization, SEO growth, and paid media performance (Google Ads), contributing to revenue growth and overall eCommerce performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Shopify Store Management & Product Operations
- Build and maintain product pages, collections, and landing pages optimized for conversion and SEO
- Manage and optimize Shopify apps to improve site functionality and user experience
Merchandising & Conversion Optimization (CRO)
- Execute merchandising strategies to promote key products, collections, and campaigns
- Build and update promotional and campaign landing pages
- Monitor site performance, troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates
SEO & Organic Growth
- Collaborate SEO strategy to increase market share and drive sustained growth in high-intent organic traffic and conversion rates.
- Define and execute keyword strategy, on-page optimization, and content initiatives aligned with business and revenue goals.
- Own optimization of product listings, category structures, and landing pages to maximize search visibility and performance.
- Optimize product listings, collections, and landing pages for search visibility.
- Monitor SEO performance metrics and continuously identify opportunities to improve traffic quality, rankings, and conversions .
Paid Media (Google Ads)
- Support Google Ads campaigns (Search, Shopping, and Display)
- Assist with keyword research, campaign setup, and bid optimization
- Monitor performance metrics such as ROAS, CPC, and conversions
- Collaborate on testing ad creatives and landing pages to improve performance
Analytics & Reporting
- Track performance across Shopify, Google Analytics, SEO, and paid media channels
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for growth
- Provide regular updates and insights to the E-commerce Manager
General Support
- Execute tasks based on direction and SOPs
- Collaborate with design, marketing, and customer service teams
- Support additional eCommerce initiatives and ad hoc projects as needed
Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years of experience in an eCommerce or DTC environment
- Hands-on experience with Shopify (product management, collections, landing pages, apps)
- Working knowledge of SEO best practices (on-page optimization, keyword usage, basic technical SEO)
- Experience with Google Ads (Search and/or Shopping preferred)
- Familiarity with Google Analytics or similar analytics tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to execute accurately
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow direction
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and improve
