Director, Digital Marketing

Position Summary

Advanced Call Center Technologies (ACT) is seeking an experienced, strategic, and hands-on Manager, Digital Marketing to help drive awareness of our brand, generate demand for our Total Experience (TX) Customer Care solutions, and strengthen our position as a leader in employee experience, customer experience, and business process outsourcing.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role will lead the development and execution of ACT's digital marketing strategy across demand generation, content marketing, website management, email marketing, social media, marketing automation, analytics, and thought leadership initiatives. In addition to B2B demand generation, they will also be responsible for developing and executing campaigns that promote and strengthen our brand as an employer, both internally and externally.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable developing strategy and rolling up their sleeves to execute. They possess strong business acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the maturity to operate independently in a fast-paced environment. This individual will serve as a key partner to the CMO, helping translate business objectives into marketing programs that drive measurable outcomes.

This role will collaborate closely with sales leadership, operations, recruiting, agency partners, and cross-functional teams to support growth, brand awareness, and talent acquisition objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing Strategy & Demand Generation

  • Develop and execute ACT's digital marketing strategy to support brand awareness, lead generation, pipeline growth, and recruitment objectives.
  • Design and manage integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, web, social media, paid digital, content marketing, and account-based marketing initiatives.
  • Partner with sales leadership to align marketing efforts with business development priorities and revenue objectives.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize marketing programs based on performance data, market conditions, and business needs.
  • Identify new opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness, customer engagement, and conversion performance.
  • Support attendance at trade and sales conferences, including development and execution of AI-enabled prospecting sales plays

Content Marketing & Thought Leadership

  • Support the development and evolution of ACT's messaging, positioning, and value proposition.
  • Lead the creation and management of thought leadership content, including blogs, white papers, executive articles, case studies, presentations, videos, and other marketing assets.
  • Collaborate with executive leaders and subject matter experts to develop content that showcases ACT's expertise and market differentiation.
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all marketing communications and digital channels.
  • Identify opportunities to elevate ACT's visibility through industry publications, speaking engagements, partnerships, and earned media opportunities.

Website, SEO & Digital Experience

  • Oversee ACT's website strategy, content management, optimization efforts, and user experience improvements.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and agency partners to improve website performance, search visibility, engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Manage SEO initiatives and digital content strategies that improve discoverability and organic growth.
  • Monitor digital performance and recommend enhancements based on analytics and user behavior.

Marketing Analytics & Operations

  • Establish, monitor, and report on key marketing performance indicators, including campaign performance, website metrics, lead generation, pipeline contribution, and return on investment.
  • Develop executive-level reporting and dashboards that provide visibility into marketing outcomes and business impact.
  • Support the administration, optimization, and adoption of marketing technology platforms and automation tools.
  • Use data-driven insights to guide decision-making and continuously improve performance.

Sales Enablement & Competitive Intelligence

  • Develop and maintain sales enablement materials, including presentations, one-pagers, case studies, battlecards, and competitive positioning resources.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and differentiation strategies.
  • Support Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) development, buyer journey mapping, and targeting initiatives.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, industry developments, and evolving customer expectations.

Agency & Vendor Leadership

  • Manage relationships with marketing agencies, consultants, freelancers, and technology partners.
  • Establish performance expectations, review deliverables, and ensure quality execution across all external resources.
  • Evaluate new tools, technologies, and vendor partnerships that support marketing effectiveness and operational efficiency.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Serve as a trusted marketing leader and strategic partner within the organization.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to support company initiatives and business objectives.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to marketing team members and contributors as the function grows.
  • Operate with a high degree of ownership, accountability, and independent decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 5-7+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, including leadership responsibility for digital marketing, demand generation, content strategy, marketing operations, or related functions.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing integrated digital marketing programs that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of demand generation, content marketing, SEO, website management, marketing automation, email marketing, and analytics.
  • Experience creating executive thought leadership content and sales enablement materials.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience managing agencies, vendors, budgets, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience supporting senior executives and operating effectively in a highly autonomous environment.
  • Knowledge of business process outsourcing, customer experience, contact center, technology services, or adjacent industries preferred.
