Job Description

Position Summary

The Digital Communications & Technical Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing digital infrastructure, optimizing our online presence, and executing technically sophisticated marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility, drive lead generation, and foster customer engagement. This role maintains the website (WordPress), SEO strategy, digital analytics, paid and organic LinkedIn campaigns, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud execution.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical marketing expertise with the ability to create and deploy high-performing digital experiences. They can manage data-driven campaigns, troubleshoot web/SEO issues, optimize digital journeys, and ensure marketing systems operate effectively. This role also collaborates with sales, product, and creative teams to support broader marketing initiatives.

Essential Functions

Website & SEO Ownership

  • Manage website in WordPress, including updates, content changes, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Own SEO strategy: keyword research, onpage optimization, metadata, and organic traffic improvements.
  • Monitor website performance, UX issues, and technical errors; recommend solutions.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Email Automation

  • Build, test, and deploy email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Manage customer journeys, segmentation, and reporting.
  • Ensure deliverability, compliance, and email performance optimization.

LinkedIn & Digital Campaign Execution

  • Manage LinkedIn campaigns including audience targeting, optimization, and reporting.
  • Collaborate on paid media and organic content strategies.
  • Track campaign performance and recommend improvements.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor digital KPIs, including web metrics, SEO performance, email engagement, and lead flow.
  • Produce monthly dashboards and actionable insights for leadership and sales.

Marketing Systems & Technical Support

  • Maintain integrations between marketing tools (e.g., WordPress ↔ SFMC, SF, internal platforms, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot technical marketing issues and optimize workflows.
  • Support digital asset management and tagging structure.

Cross-Functional Support

  • Partner with Sales to optimize lead routing, tracking, and sales enablement content.
  • Support the creative team by providing digital requirements, web formats, and technical guidance.
  • Assist with landing pages, forms, tracking, and digital compliance needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • 3–5 years of digital marketing or technical marketing experience
  • Strong experience with WordPress (admin + basic HTML/CSS)
  • Strong SEO knowledge (keyword research, optimization, analytics)
  • Experience running LinkedIn advertising and organic programs
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar email platform
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to interpret data and present insights
  • Self-motivated/able to work independently
