A Metrics/Data Analyst II should have a basic understanding of best practices and can execute on projects and initiatives with supervision from others. Individuals will create basic level insights and recommendations in their area of expertise. Individuals in this role will continue to provide support to the analytics team members and begin to lead analytics efforts with low complexity.
Accountabilities
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards for MarketingOperations and Executive Leadership
- Collects, analyzes, and reports management data to support decisions on day-to-day operations, strategic planning, and specific business performance issues
- Collates, models, interprets, and analyzes data (variances and trends)
- Identifies and documents enhancements to modeling techniques
- Prepares operations analyses, including analysis of competitors, operational effectiveness, and capacity utilization, and makes recommendations for improvement
- Develops process analyses, designs, and simulations
- Leverage basic AI tools and features (e.g., predictive analytics, NLP) to enrich data analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data into strategic recommendations
- Requires a solid understanding of the organization's business operations and industry and possesses strong analytical skills
- Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provides information to ensure the most effective utilization of personnel, equipment, and materials
- Performs analyses of the operation's cost elements to ensure effective and efficient operations
- May track, maintain, and provide current information on the operation's business scorecard
- Lead/manage and deliver projects to a highest quality and standard
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree holder
- Has 1-3 years of analytics experience
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Advanced excel skills
- Working knowledge of database structures and associated reporting platforms would be useful
- Strong communication skills requiredSkilled in using Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms for dashboards and visualizations.
- Ability to interpret and present complex datasets and generate actionable and sophisticated insights
- Strong analytical thinking to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Skilled in developing and maintaining dashboards, performance reports, and data-driven presentations for diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to combine visualizations from multiple sources to tell an effective and engaging story
- Ability to effectively structure work to meet deadlines and to communicate timely on progress and escalate roadblocks to the leaders/stakeholders
- Basic understanding of AI concepts and their applications in analytics.
- Awareness of how AI tools can support data enrichment, automation, and decision-making.
- Interest in learning and applying AI-driven solutions to enhance reporting and insights.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies to support technical workflows and business objectives.
- Knowledge of different project management approaches and lifecycles and/or agile methodology is a plus
- Has Python, R, or AI/machine learning experience is a plus
