The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a proactive sales hunter who thrives in a startup environment and is comfortable working with targets, ambiguity, and rapid change.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound outreach, networking, referrals, and partnerships.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Present and pitch company products/services to potential clients.
- Conduct product demos and discovery calls.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Service Delivery, Tech, Marketing, Operations) to ensure smooth on-boarding.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Collect client feedback to improve product offerings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, IT or related field.
- 2-5 years experience in business development, B2B sales, or tech sales.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Self-starter with problem-solving ability.
- Preferably with entrepreneurial experience or background.
