Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves investigating and diagnosing issues across various critical business systems to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying system anomalies and collaborating with different teams to resolve challenges efficiently. The position demands continuous monitoring and support to maintain system reliability and performance, contributing to the overall success of business processes. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and address system issues promptly. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance collective expertise. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize support processes and system stability. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Business Requirements Analysis. - Additional Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Application Modernization, Java Enterprise Edition. - Strong analytical skills to interpret and translate business needs into technical solutions. - Experience in documenting and managing detailed business requirements. - Ability to work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical implementations. - Familiarity with software development lifecycle and support methodologies. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Business Requirements Analysis. - This position is based at our Manila office.
