Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.
Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for actively participating in team discussions and providing solutions to work-related problems. Your typical day will involve independently performing tasks and becoming subject matter experts in the field. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Troubleshoot and resolve application issues efficiently. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance. - Document and maintain support processes and procedures. - Identify opportunities for process improvements. - Provide technical support and guidance to end-users. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition - Strong understanding of software troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques. - Experience in application support and maintenance. - Knowledge of database management and SQL queries. - Familiarity with ITIL framework for service management. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition. - This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required
