Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Bookkeeper to manage end-to-end accounting support across multiple entities. The role includes Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, expense management, BAS preparation, and End-of-Month (EOM) reporting.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in
Australian Bookkeeping and BAS services, advanced proficiency in
MYOB Exo, and a solid understanding of ATO compliance and accounting standards. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reporting cycles, and ensuring data integrity across all financial systems.
This is a fast-paced role suited for someone highly organised, proactive, and confident working across multiple business entities independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) across multiple entities
- Manage expense claims and credit card transactions
- Perform bank reconciliations and support End-of-Month (EOM) processes
- Provide ad hoc accounting assistance as required
- Complete accurate and timely MYOB Exo data entry
- Support general finance administration tasks
- Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS)
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Australian bookkeeping and BAS services
- High proficiency in MYOB Exo and commonly used third-party integrations/apps
- Formal qualifications in Bookkeeping or Accounting
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and financial data integrity
- Strong ability to manage multiple entities and competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred Attributes
- Experience working with multi-entity finance
- Familiarity with ATO compliance and Australian accounting standards
- Experience collaborating with offshore or remote teams
- Strong understanding of cloud-based accounting workflows
- Proactive attitude and ability to identify process improvements
