Job Description

Work Setup & Schedule:

  • 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday
  • Hybrid with once or twice a month onsite schedule
  • One Ayala, Makati City | Hybrid Setup | AU Client Exposure

What you'll be doing:

The role oversees the full spectrum of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Financial Operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, smooth vendor and customer transactions, and compliance with all statutory requirements. This position also provides guidance to junior accounting staff and works cross-functionally with Purchasing, Sales, Customer Care, and Management to support the company's financial health and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE & JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT SUPPORT
  • BANK & PAYMENT PLATFORM RECONCILIATION
  • Perform reconciliations across Stripe, PayPal, Afterpay, American Express, and Wise
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and conduct monthly financial monitoring Monthly preparation of cashflow, accrual accounting, and commissions
  • Prepare BAS returns and financial statements for all group companies in Odoo
  • Weekly bookkeeping including bank reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable
  • Annual PAYG summary lodgement / SCTP lodgement
  • Practice management and ad-hoc tasks as required
  • PAYROLL — EMPLOYMENT HERO (FORTNIGHTLY)
  • Validate staff hours with the management team for processing of the fortnightly onshore payroll through Employment Hero
  • Onboard new starters into Employment Hero (accounting setup only — banking details, super, and payroll details managed separately)
  • Prepare and submit payroll tax, PAYG, superannuation lodgements, workers compensation, and other compliance returns
  • Respond promptly to internal and external payroll queries
  • Prepare and review payroll reconciliation and procedures
  • Calculate and post end-of-month accrual journals to the general ledger
  • Assist in the production of end-of-month reports
  • INBOX & DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT

Skills/Attributes Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Accountancy
  • 3-7 years Experience in Australian Accounting, Bookkeeping, Payroll and Insurance
  • Highly proficient in MS Office Suite – Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to manage large volumes of data
  • Sound exposure to Document Control Process
  • With experience using Odoo ERP
