Job Description

Job Title: Bar Supervisor

Location: Seda BGC, Bonifacio Global City

Reports To: Bar Manager

Job Summary

The Bar Supervisor assists the Bar Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of Straight Up Bar, Sikreto, and Pool Bar. This role ensures smooth service flow, maintains service standards, supports revenue generation, and supervises the bar team while ensuring excellent guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Support

  • Supervise daily bar operations across Straight Up Bar, Sikreto, and Pool Bar.
  • Ensure all outlets are properly set up and ready for service.
  • Monitor service standards, cleanliness, and overall bar ambiance.
  • Handle opening and closing procedures, including cash handling when required.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety, and sanitation standards.

Team Supervision

  • Lead and guide bartenders and bar staff during shifts.
  • Ensure proper staffing levels and efficient duty assignments.
  • Assist in training new employees on service standards, product knowledge, and bar procedures.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching to improve performance and service delivery.
  • Report staff performance concerns to the Bar Manager.

Sales & Guest Service

  • Ensure excellent guest service and satisfaction at all times.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Promote upselling and suggestive selling techniques among team members.
  • Support execution of bar promotions, events, and special beverage programs.

Inventory & Cost Control

  • Assist in monitoring stock levels and bar inventory.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper usage of ingredients to minimize wastage.
  • Support receiving and storage of bar supplies.

Administrative Support

  • Prepare daily reports including sales, incidents, and operational updates.
  • Coordinate with other departments (Kitchen, Service, Events) for smooth operations.
  • Ensure proper documentation and adherence to internal procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2–3 years experience as a Bartender or Bar Supervisor in a hotel or upscale bar.
  • Strong knowledge of bar operations and basic mixology.
  • Good understanding of inventory control and cost awareness.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
