Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Taguig, Metro Manila for Assistant Finance Manager. The Assistant Finance Manager will oversee financial operations, including forecasting, and financial reporting. Responsibilities will include managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, supporting audits and maintaining strong internal controls. This role will also supervise inventory accounting and stock reconciliationto ensure accuracy and compliance. The role will also involve working closely with senior management to provide insights into financial performance and advice on financial strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. General Accounting
  • Supervise full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing
  • Review journal entries, schedules, and supporting documentation

2. Inventory & Cost Accounting

  • Oversee inventory accounting and ensure accurate stock valuation
  • Monitor inventory movements, adjustments, and reconciliations
  • Perform periodic stock reconciliation between system and physical counts
  • Investigate inventory variances and implement corrective actions

3.Internal Control & Compliance

  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial and inventory processes
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and tax requirements (Philippines)
  • Support internal and external audits, including audit schedules and documentation

4.Team Supervision

  • Lead, supervise, and guide accounting staff
  • Review team deliverables to ensure accuracy and timeliness

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Experience in inventory is required

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
