JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing accurate and timely credit appraisal services so that the proper credit risk analysis decisions can be made.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Coordinates with requesting party and client regarding appraisal of properties
- Inspects and appraises value of properties offered as security by borrowers. Prepares appraisal report
- Consults realtors/ brokers/ appraisers on current market prices of the properties for appraisal
- Conducts the following verification on properties:
a. Location verification at Land Regulation Authority, Bureau of Lands, and Tax Mapping Section; and
b. Technical description verification with the Bureau of Lands, Department of Public Works and Highway and Assessor's Office, etc
- Updates database by conducting price research on real estate, machinery and equipment, shares of stock, building rental rates and other related matters
- Ensures proper upkeep of work area and equipment assigned to him/ her
- Ensures confidentiality of information from appraisal works conducted
- Ensures accuracy, completeness and timeliness of reports
- Ensures veracity of information of clients and loan applicants
- Ensures appropriate use of cash advances and liquidation of cash advances
- Performs other tasks that may be required/ assigned from time to time
- Conforms to Bank policies, rules and regulations
