Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accounting Supervisor role based in Makati. The Accounting Supervisor will oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensure the accuracy of financial reporting, and provide guidance on accounting procedures. Responsibilities include supervising team members, reviewing financial records, managing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The role also involves analyzing financial data to support business decision-making.

Principal Responsibilities 

1. In charge of daily accounting, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and the general ledger. 
2. Participate in regular audits of taxes and/or payroll. 
3. Oversee year-end and month-end closing 
4. Keep an eye on the accounting department's daily performance. 
5. Lead and supervise a team of accounting specialists while providing guidance, support, and feedback. 
6. Make sure that all financial reports are accurate and submitted on schedule, including the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. 
7. Stay up to date on changes to accounting regulations and ensure that new standards are applied. 
8. Keep an eye on and reconcile the general ledger accounts to make sure all transactions are appropriately documented and compliant with accounting rules. 

Education and Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy 
• At least 5 years of related experience 
• Strong knowledge in SAP system and tax filing 
• Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends 
• Knowledgeable in using Excel, QuickBooks and other accounting related system. 
• CPA is a plus 
• Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws and regulations

• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
