General Accounting Supervisor

The Opportunity

This is not a routine accounting supervisory role. As Section Head – General Accounting, you will lead core accounting operations that ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial reporting across the organization.

You will oversee financial data management, reporting processes, audit coordination, and internal controls—while managing a team responsible for key accounting functions such as receivables, cash, inventory, and fixed assets. This role is central to maintaining financial discipline and enabling reliable decision-making across the enterprise.

What You'll Actually Do

Drive Financial Reporting & Accuracy

• Oversee preparation and submission of monthly financial reports, analysis, and schedules.
• Review and validate reports from team members to ensure completeness and accuracy.

Lead Core Accounting Operations

• Supervise key processes including journal entries, revenue, receivables, cash, inventory, and fixed assets.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, policies, and internal controls.

Manage Audit Coordination & Compliance

• Lead coordination with internal and external auditors for interim and annual audits.
• Provide documentation, address inquiries, and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.

Strengthen Internal Controls & Governance

• Establish and maintain controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
• Ensure compliance with financial, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Oversee Inventory & Asset Management

• Facilitate periodic inventory of supplies and fixed assets, validate discrepancies, and ensure accurate recording.
• Ensure proper utilization, safeguarding, and accountability of assets.

Lead and Develop the Team

• Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor performance against deadlines and quality standards.
• Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and mentoring sessions.
• Drive capability building and continuous improvement within the team.

Who You Are

• A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
• Preferably with MBA or postgraduate studies in Accounting.
• Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Has at least 3 years of experience using digitalized accounting systems.
• Brings 5+ years of accounting experience in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong in financial reporting, reconciliation, and audit processes.
• Detail-oriented, structured, and capable of leading high-volume accounting operations.
