Job Description

Specific Duties

Join our dynamic Finance Team and report to the in a role that offers a once-in-a-career opportunity to contribute to a high-performing team with exposure to strategic, enterprise wide financial initiatives. This role offers broad exposure across multiple finance functions and the chance to work with senior leadership and key stakeholders across the group.

Bookkeeping and Analysis

  • Assist with weekly bank and investment reconciliations across multiple entities, ensuring all transactions are accurately matched and variances are investigated promptly.
  • Maintain clean and up to date cash related work papers and supporting schedules.
  • Assist with posting bank related journals and adjustments.
  • Support month end cash processes, including verifying balances and preparing reconciliation summaries.
  • Assist with preparing management reports across multiple entity types.
  • Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly internal reports for key stakeholders.
  • Help with cashflow reporting, including gathering data and updating working files.
  • Support yearend audit preparation by compiling schedules and responding to simple auditor queries.
  • Support senior leadership and key stakeholders by preparing clear, well structured reports.
  • Assist with ad hoc analysis and reporting as required.

Process Improvement and Systems

  • Help identify opportunities to improve processes, particularly using system features and AI tools.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all tasks are completed according to procedure.
  • Support continuous improvement activities within reporting and investments workflows.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Familiarity with bookkeeping fundamentals
  • Working knowledge of Xero (advantageous but not essential)
  • Experience using technology for automation and process improvement
