Ensures the timely and accurate recording of manual inventory-accountable documents, manufacturing expenses, and other plant-related transactions
Ensures the timely and accurate booking of manufacturing expenses, including the recognition of accruals when necessary
Records manual inventory-accountable documents accurately and on time in SAP Business One (SAP B1)
Prepares and submits month-end and periodic financial and operational reports within established deadlines
Ensures accurate booking of all plant transactions and analyzes variances, providing explanations and recommending corrective actions
Ensures that all intercompany transactions are properly billed and recorded, with no unbilled or unrecorded balances at month-end
Monitors scrap generation and disposal in close coordination with the Warehouse Supervisor/Custodian
Ensures the completeness and accuracy of fixed asset records and maintains an updated depreciation (lapsing) schedule
Collaborates with the Plant Manager and Production Supervisor in identifying, raising, and addressing operational issues with financial impact
Ensures compliance with accounting manuals, operational procedures, and system controls; participates in the updating of accounting and operations manuals as needed
Ensures efficient cash management, including checks, remittances, and revolving fund administration
Ensures accuracy and completeness of data collection for budgeting, actuals, and forecasting, including operating days, shift schedules, machine capacity, labor manning and man-hours, and material standard specifications
Monitors the warehouse cycle count program implemented by the Warehouse Team to ensure inventory accuracy
Determines and updates standard labor and overhead rates in production routing, product costing, and product master data
Prepares and generates comparative cost control reports, including Actual vs. Budget, Actual vs. Forecast, Month-on-Month, Year-on-Year, Month-to-Date, Year-to-Date, and Same Period Last Year analyses, and provides monthly fund balance reports
Manages plant revolving fund disbursements and replenishments and conducts daily revolving fund cash counts for plant transactions processing
Prepares and analyzes production cost reports covering machines, labor, materials, logistics, and other manufacturing cost components
Practices 5S standards in the workplace to promote safety, efficiency, and organization
Upholds and safeguards the companys image, values, and reputation at all times
Performs other related tasks and responsibilities as may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Accountancy; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a strong advantage
At least 1 year of solid hands-on experience in cost accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment
Proven exposure to ERP systems and/or supply chain operations
Strong grasp of accounting principles with a focus on cost accounting and variance analysis
In-depth knowledge of cost systems, standard costing, and manufacturing cost structures
Above-average analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
Demonstrates a high level of customer service orientation and cross-functional coordination skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
Working knowledge of SAP Business One (SAP B1)
Amenable to work on-site in 2nd Ave., Bagumbayan, Bicutan, Taguig City
