Position Overview
RecruitGo is in search of a Accountant based in the Philippines. Aside from your established skills and expertise, we are also looking for someone who has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
The Accountant will play a key role in managing client relationships and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. This role involves handling Australian Payroll, Daily Bank Reconciliation, Month end reporting, budgeting, Quartley Tax, Payroll Tax return, Assist the Tax accountant at Year end.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting firm with at least 1 year of either Australian, UK, Singaporean or New Zealand Accounting exposure.
- Ability to review and interpret tax legislation.
- Exposure to tax planning concepts, including Division 7A of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1936.
- Basic understanding of trust rules in the Income Tax Assessment Acts 1936 & 1997.
- Strong grasp of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Broad understanding of accounting and tax issues.
- Proficient in gathering, organizing, and summarizing information efficiently.
- Able to meet deadlines and adhere to budget constraints.
- Commitment to delivering value-added client service and technical expertise, ensuring timely, high-quality professional services through a holistic, multidisciplinary approach.
- Demonstrates professionalism and fosters positive rapport with clients and team members.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Xero.
- Must be available from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Sydney time).

- Salary Range: PHP 35,000 PHP 50,000
