The Account Executive is responsible for managing client accounts, generating new business opportunities, and ensuring the successful delivery of logistics and freight services. This role involves coordinating with operations teams, maintaining strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within logistics, freight forwarding, and supply chain services.
- Manage and grow assigned client accounts to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Prepare and present service proposals, quotations, and contracts to prospective clients.
- Coordinate with operations, warehouse, and transport teams to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
- Monitor shipments, resolve service issues, and provide regular updates to clients.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct regular client visits, sales calls, and business reviews.
- Track sales activities, pipeline, and account performance using CRM systems.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, service standards, and industry regulations.
- Gather market intelligence and provide feedback on customer needs, pricing, and competitor activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, or supply chain sales/account management
- Knowledge of freight operations (air, sea, or land), warehousing, or distribution processes
- Strong sales, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have an active Driver's License
