Role Overview
Globalco seeks a Web App Quality Assurance Specialist for its Davao operations. The position demands focus, precision, and a commitment to high technical standards. The selected candidate ensures that Globalco's web-based applications perform flawlessly across environments and adhere to defined business logic.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated testing for web applications under development.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and anomalies.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to isolate and resolve issues.
- Validate functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance test scenarios.
- Assess web application performance, responsiveness, and security compliance.
- Ensure proper version control, build validation, and release readiness.
- Provide structured QA reports and documentation for management review.
- Participate in sprint reviews, stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure product quality.
- Recommend continuous process improvements to enhance testing efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Proven experience in software or web application quality assurance.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, or Cypress.
- Understanding of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps frameworks.
- Knowledge of API testing and browser compatibility validation.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent English communication, both written and verbal.
