Warehouse Operations
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.
- Ensure accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and full physical inventory.
- Implement and maintain First-Expiry-First-Out (FEFO) / First-In-First-Out (FIFO) principles.
- Develop and enforce warehouse SOPs to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Maintain proper warehouse layout, racking, and space utilization.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper handling of FMCG products.
Logistics & Distribution
- Plan and coordinate delivery schedules to meet customer and internal requirements.
- Manage transportation partners and ensure cost-efficient delivery routes.
- Monitor inbound and outbound logistics performance (OTIF – On Time In Full).
- Resolve delivery issues such as delays, damages, or discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for transport and handling of goods.
Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement and production teams.
- Investigate inventory variances and implement corrective actions.
- Optimize stock rotation to avoid expiries and losses.
People Management
- Lead, supervise, and train warehouse and logistics staff.
- Conduct performance reviews and implement improvement plans.
- Ensure workload planning based on demand and manpower availability.
Cost Control & Process Improvement
- Monitor and control warehousing and logistics costs.
- Implement lean processes and continuous improvements to reduce waste.
- Ensure accuracy of logistics documentation, delivery receipts, and shipping papers.
- Analyze KPIs and prepare operational reports for management.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure proper use of equipment (e.g., forklifts).
- Conduct safety audits and coordinate preventive maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, government standards, and FMCG industry requirements.
Required Experience (FMCG Environment)
- At least 5 years of experience in Warehouse, Logistics, or Supply Chain roles.
- Minimum 5 years in an assistant manager or managerial position.
- Strong background in FMCG warehousing operations, including high-volume and fast-paced environments.
- Hands-on experience with WMS, ERP systems (SAP).
- Experience dealing with third-party logistics (3PLs) and trucking partners.
- Proven track record in improving warehouse processes, optimizing costs, and achieving KPIs.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and proper product handling.
Willing to be assigned in Pampanga and Mandaluyong alternately.
