What if your eye for visual storytelling could directly shape how AI understands and recreates cinematic moments We're looking for Visual Storytelling Prompt Writers to watch video clips and translate what they see into rich, structured prompts — capturing camera movement, mood, character, and narrative in a way that AI models can learn from and build upon.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with a strong sense of visual language and a passion for film, video, or creative writing. No professional experience required — just a sharp eye, a descriptive mind, and an instinct for what makes a scene come alive.

What You'll Do
- Watch video clips and craft structured prompts that capture their visual and narrative essence
- Describe characters, settings, camera angles, movement, lighting, and mood with precision
- Balance technical cinematographic detail with emotional and storytelling context
- Produce multiple prompt variants when required to cover different stylistic angles
- Follow style guides for wording, specificity, and point of view — consistently and accurately
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Strong descriptive writer with an instinct for visual clarity and detail
- Passionate about film, video, photography, or visual storytelling in any form
- Able to articulate what you see — composition, tone, atmosphere — without relying on dialogue or audio
- Comfortable following structured guidelines and applying them consistently across varied content
- Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of delivering quality work independently
- No professional or academic experience required
Nice to Have
- Background in filmmaking, screenwriting, photography, or visual arts
- Experience with creative writing, copywriting, or descriptive content production
- Familiarity with cinematography terminology — shot types, framing, lighting setups
- Prior exposure to AI prompt writing or generative media tools
