Schedule: Monday-Friday. Flexible working hours, however, candidates must overlap with UK working hours (9:00am – 6:00pm ) for a reasonable portion.

Our client is a UK-based creative communications and content group that provides Film, Digital and Learning and PR & social media services to it's clients. We have a wide range of clients, but we primarily work with big organisations / clients in corporate space (financial services and other regulated sectors).
About The Role
Our client is looking for a Social Media Manager who can take ownership of day-to-day execution while continuously improving performance across multiple social media channels. This role is focused on delivering consistent, high-quality content, while also bringing fresh ideas, testing new formats, and optimizing what works.
You will manage multiple social media accounts end-to-end—from content creation and publishing to audience engagement—ensuring each channel remains active, relevant, and aligned with brand objectives. In addition to execution, you'll play a key role in supporting social media strategy and contributing to new business pitches.
You will report directly to the Group Sales & Marketing Director, who leads overall strategy across the client's business. While strategic direction will be set at a senior level, you will be expected to take ownership of social media execution, proactively bring ideas, and develop campaigns, formats, and content that elevate performance across both the group and select client channels.
Responsibilities
- Social Media Management (Core)
- Manage multiple social media accounts across:
- LinkedIn (primary)
- Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook (Potentially)
- Own day-to-day execution for:
- The Business's Group channels
- Client accounts
- Maintain consistency in tone, quality, and messaging
- Content Creation & Distribution
- Schedule and publish content across all platforms
- Create and adapt:
- Carousels
- Social graphics
- Branded assets
- Repurpose existing content into social formats
- Edit short-form video/GIFs (bonus)
- Content Ideation & Planning
- Bring ideas for and plan posts, formats, and content series
- Think in formats and campaigns, not just one-off posts
- Contribute to a test-and-learn content approach
- Stay up to date with social media trends and conversations and apply them where relevant
- Community Management & Engagement
- Respond to comments and messages
- Engage with relevant audiences and prospects
- Interact with industry conversations in a marketing capacity
- Help build an active and visible presence for both the group and clients
- Internal Content Sourcing
- Proactively gather information from across the business
- Turn internal activity (projects, shoots, insights) into content
- Work with teams to ensure a steady flow of content opportunities
- Client Support & Pitch Contribution
- Support delivery of social media for existing clients
- Input into pitch decks/proposals, contributing social media ideas and approaches.

Competencies And Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven experience managing social media accounts end-to-end
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn and major social platforms
- Experience managing multiple accounts (agency experience preferred)
- Strong copywriting skills
- Ability to create social content (design) - video editing is a bonus
- Ability to balance execution with strategic thinking
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Proactive and able to operate independently
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in creative, communications, or content-led agencies
- Familiarity with film/video or marketing environments
- Experience with scheduling and analytics tools
