Job Description

The Role

We are looking for a talented and creative Video Editor with a passion for creating engaging short form content across our social media platforms in Australia and New Zealand. In this role, you'll work closely with the Video Creative and 3D Team, focusing on editing footage from the brand's influencers and content creators. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, a passion for storytelling, and experience producing videos for social media and performance marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and edit videos using Premiere Pro, After Effects, and support from other software. Familiarity with Final Cut Pro is a plus, but not required.
  • Responsible for processing raw footage, including color grading, editing, resizing for various platforms, and assembling a cohesive visual story.
  • Optimize high quality video content and creative static assets in multiple formats and resolutions, including graphics, GIFs, social tiles and other interactive elements mainly for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
  • Understand and ensure the visuals align with Ecosa's brand vision, voice, and style while maintaining the technical quality of the videos.
  • Optimize video content for various platforms and resolutions such as social media and web.
  • Stay up to date with the latest editing styles, social media trends, and video techniques to maximize efficiency.
  • Support and assist the Video Creative and 3D Team with marketing materials.
  • Work directly with the Video Creative and 3D Team to achieve weekly milestones.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 4-5 years of video editing experience, preferably in social media and performance marketing campaigns.
  • Strong technical skills using Adobe Creative Cloud, Final Cut Pro. Familiarity with Final Cut Pro and Davinci Resolve is a plus but not required.
  • Should have in-depth knowledge of different styles and layout techniques and a background on branding and corporate identity
  • A keen eye for visual storytelling that captures attention and communicates a clear message.
  • Good understanding of file format compatibility across platforms and editing tools.
  • Familiarity with platform-specific trends, best practices, and audience preferences across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest.
  • Creative thinking ability to translate raw footage into a finished product while following a brief or storyboard
  • Able to adapt to different formats and styles of videos and work with a sense of urgency whilst balancing a commitment to quality.
  • Knowledge and interest in performance marketing campaigns and project management tools such as ClickUp is a plus.
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills.
