Photo Editor and Retoucher - eCommerce Products and Lifestyle Shots

Ready to join a fun tech brand with consistent growth and innovation Velvet Caviar is looking for a creative who excels at product photo retouching with a passion for digital marketing and branding. You'll collaborate with members of the marketing and design team for guidance but would take ownership of final editing of the product photos across the website and other digital assets. We're mostly known for our fashionable phone cases which can be found in national retailers and on many celebrities! All products are designed in New York and assembled in the United States. What you'll do:

- Edit & retouch lifestyle and fashion-oriented photos to align with brand aesthetics.

- Enhance images by refining color, saturation, lighting, and overall mood to ensure a polished, editorial-quality look.

- Match the correct color, saturation, and effects to meet the real-life expectancy of a product

- Work with raw photos from lifestyle shoots, refining compositions and ensuring they're optimized for social media, digital ads, and eCommerce platforms.

- Collaborate with the Creative Director, Graphic Designers, and Marketing Team to develop and maintain a consistent visual identity.

- Maintain an efficient editing process to meet deadlines for new product launches and marketing campaigns.

- Organize and file images systematically for easy access across teams and platforms.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Photography, Digital Arts, or related field

- 2+ years relevant work experience in product photo retouching

- Advanced knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator

- Excellent photography and retouching skills

- Strong communicator, collaborator, and detail-oriented

- Growth mindset with a passion for marketing, branding, and design

- Great time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

- Can work from 8 am to 5 pm EST
