Video Editor

We are looking for a driven and skilled VIDEO EDITOR to join our team. You will be required to edit visually engaging video content to be used in various platforms. You must have a strong video editing skill set and a good understanding of storytelling principles. You will be working closely with a production team to deliver videos with high production value.

Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage, dialogue, graphics, sound and music, combining them into compelling, high-quality outputs based on creative guidance and project specs
•  Apply transitions, titles, color correction and sound mixing
• Select and add appropriate music and sound effects
• Work collaboratively with other team members to develop concepts and story lines that meet the project's needs
• Export high quality videos with accurate settings for different platforms
• Manage production files and video libraries in a systematic and organized manner
• Be able to flexibly update and edit video content as required by production supervisors and clients, when necessary
• Work efficiently under pressure and meet production deadlines

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in media production, film, communication, or other related programs
• Proven work experience as a video editor. Samples of editing work are required.
• Strong technical skills and experience with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects, and other related software
• Good visual storytelling skills, attention to detail, and artistic ability
• Keen ear for sound quality and sound design
• Efficient project management abilities
• Strong communication skills and personable qualities
