The Opportunity

Are you a content creator who lives and breathes TikTok and Instagram trends We are looking for a high-energy Performance Video Editor (Paid Social) to join our fast-growing startup. In this role, you aren't just making videos—you are building high-performance ad content that drives measurable results across a diverse portfolio of brands. You know how to spot the potential in raw footage and elevate its tone to stop the scroll. If you bring a product-testing mentality, genuine curiosity, and a passion for short-form storytelling, this is your chance to grow with a team that moves at the speed of social.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

  • Direct Response Editing: Craft original and engaging short-form video assets specifically optimized for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • UGC Synthesis: Compile and condense raw user-generated content (UGC) into cohesive, high-energy video ads that feel native to the platform.
  • Ad Optimization: Identify and implement the perfect hook, body, and CTA to elevate ad performance and meet specific client objectives.
  • Quality Assurance: Thoroughly review all completed work for technical and quality errors, ensuring every output aligns with brand and legal guidelines.
  • Collaborative Iteration: Receive and rapidly implement creative direction and feedback from teammates and clients to meet critical deadlines.
  • Project Management: Maintain organized workflows within task management platforms to deliver multiple unique brand assets simultaneously.

What You Bring

  • DTC/eComm Experience: 1–2 years of professional experience in paid social video editing and design within the direct-to-consumer space.
  • Performance Mindset: A creative mind that can visualize high-performing ad flows, from the initial hook to the final conversion point.
  • Technical Toolkit: Proficiency in CapCut and the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.).
  • Multi-Format Versatility: Experience creating a variety of ad formats, including static graphics, GIFs, and full-motion video.
  • Detail-Oriented Communication: Exceptional written skills and a detective's eye for technical accuracy and design consistency.
  • Collaboration Skills: A positive, enthusiastic mindset with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Hardware Requirements: To ensure seamless rendering and editing workflows, the following technical specs are required:
  • Mac: Apple Silicon M2 chip or higher.
  • Windows:
  • RAM: At least 32 GB (64 GB preferred).
  • GPU: Dedicated graphics card with 8+ GB of VRAM.
  • Storage: SSD strongly recommended for media cache, previews, and exports

Bonus Points if:

  • You have prior experience working in Asana, Monday.com, or similar task management platforms.
  • You have a personal background in content creation or social media influence.
  • You are an early adopter of new social features and editing trends before they go mainstream.
