Job Description

Position SummaryThe Underwriting Coordinator supports the underwriting operations by managing incoming submission emails from broker partners, ensuring all required documents are provided, and coordinating with brokers to resolve any missing information. The role involves preparing complete submissions for Underwriter review using tools such as GDrive, carrier portals, and Salesforce. In addition to data entry and pre‑processing work, the associate provides daily customer service to brokers and policyholders, responding to requests for policy details, billing questions, and other account needs. This position requires strong attention to detail, efficient workflow management, and clear communication to maintain accuracy and support the overall underwriting process.

  • Data entry and reporting
  • Document tracking & management
  • Record updating in Salesforce (SFDC)
  • Communication with brokers & internal teams
  • Inbox management and work queue management
  • Work prioritization and follow up
  • Process documentation
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, and local, state and federal laws and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • At least 1 year of work experience, preferably with Salesforce (SFDC)
  • Prior experience in insurance underwriting, data entry or administrative roles is preferred
  • Exposure to US healthcare is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC) or other CRM systems
  • Exceptional accuracy in data entry and document management
  • Ability to manage multiple submissions simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with brokers and internal teams
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to producing high‑quality work
  • Typing speed of over 45 words per minute is preferred
  • Willingness to learn new processes and adapt to changes in a fast‑paced environment
  • Willingness to learn insurance operations, terminology and underwriting workflows
  • Prior experience in insurance underwriting, data entry or administrative roles are preferred
  • Willing to work in Makati City during US business hours
  • Salary Package: up to 32,500 PHP
