Key Responsibilities:
As the Training Specialist, you will be responsible for the following:
- Needs Assessment: Facilitate training and development needs through various methods, including surveys, interviews, performance data, and consultation with department heads.
- Training Delivery: Facilitate engaging and effective learning content and materials across various delivery formats, including but not limited to e-learning modules, interactive workshops, instructor-led training sessions, on-the-job training guides, and blended learning solutions. Facilitate training sessions as needed, ensuring a positive and impactful learning experience.
- Program Management: Implement training programs, including scheduling, logistics, communication, participant tracking, and budget management. Coordinate effectively with internal resources and external training vendors when necessary.
- Evaluation and Improvement: Implement robust evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness and impact of training programs on employee performance and organizational outcomes. Analyze feedback and data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary adjustments to enhance future training initiatives.
- Collaboration: Coordinate closely with the key stakeholders, including department managers and subject matter experts, to ensure that learning and development initiatives are aligned with business objectives, address specific departmental needs, and are effectively communicated and supported across the organization.
- Performance Management: Assist in the development and implementation of the organization's performance management process.
- Job Induction: Facilitate and monitor engaging and informative job induction programs for new hires, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience and a strong foundation for success within the company.
- Internal Communications: Maintain and update all internal communications to include design and posting of teasers or publications materials on HRMS, Linkedin, FB, IG, X, WhatsApp, and all other communication portals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organisational Development, or a related field.
- Over 3 years of related experience in training delivery, curriculum design, performance management, and employee engagement planning and execution.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting training needs assessments, developing learning strategies, and evaluating training effectiveness.
- Basic understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and learning technologies (e-learning platforms, LMS, etc.).
- Good facilitation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners
- Proficiency in using Canva, Photoshop, and other relevant editing software applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
