Overview
Join a growing organization managing over 80 communities across 18 states with a mission to provide safe, reliable housing. We are seeking a Title Specialist to execute day-to-day title transfers, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure all regulatory documentation is properly tracked. This critical role supports our Sales Operations by ensuring administrative excellence and process consistency across our expanding portfolio.
Schedule:
- 35–40 hours/week | Spring, TX
Responsibilities
- Accurately complete assigned title-related tasks and submit necessary documentation for transfers across multiple states
- Gather, organize, and review files to ensure all required paperwork and signatures are complete before submission
- Update internal trackers and property management systems (like Rent Manager) with the current status and file progress
- Maintain up-to-date records for all inventory, ensuring titles are transferred within the required state-specific timeframes
- Monitor assigned items for delays, flag missing information to leadership, and escalate issues outside of standard processes
- Communicate clearly with field teams and provide status updates to the Sales Operations Manager to ensure operational transparency
- Handle repetitive administrative tasks with high accuracy while maintaining the confidentiality and security of the company/resident data
- Develop a strong understanding of state-specific DMV or real estate processes to eventually guide and support other team members
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and financial reporting tools, with the ability to use company-provided computers and software
- Previous remote work experience with a proven ability to work independently from a dedicated workspace with a reliable high-speed internet connection
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with a comfortable approach to handling repetitive tasks and following strict instructions
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and solve problems in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Strong basic communication skills to work collaboratively across departments and effectively with remote field teams
- Must meet company standards for reliability, trust, and attendance, including maintaining the security of sensitive resident information
- Willingness to undergo random drug testing and successful completion of a background check in accordance with local and federal laws
Preferred (not required):
- Experience with administrative work, data entry, or document processing
- Exposure to title work, DMV processes, or real estate
- Proficiency with Rent Manager property management software
