A US-based consulting company is looking to hire a hard-working and self-motivated Filipino Technical Writer to create and document processes and procedures for our clients. Impeccable mastery of the English language (both written and verbal) is a must.
This role is 100% work from home.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Map process flows based on a recording of the consultant interviewing the client. This includes creating flow charts and diagrams.
- Write high-quality, clear, easy-to-understand step-by-step procedures based on a recording of an interview of a client or videos submitted directly by clients on how they perform certain tasks.
- Organize the material in a cloud-based process documentation software or Learning Management System software.
- Use videos, screenshots, links, etc to provide a balance between written material and demonstration of the material and to ensure full understanding.
- Identify points of improvement and communicate it clearly to the consultant you are working with
- Use our internal systems to communicate about their work and report daily on progress.
About You:
- 3+ years of experience in technical writing, creating instructions, creating flow charts, process mapping,and process improvement background.
- Ability to translate highly technical information into easily understandable information
- Very good understanding of the business world and high familiarity with common terms
- Experience in process documentation and process improvement
- Ability to duplicate what is said and translate it into writing
- Excellent mastery of the English language including grammar, punctuation and spelling.
- Good mastery of MS Products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Google suite
- Detail-oriented, efficient and concise
- Ability to critical thinking and problem-solving
