Position Responsibilities
- Own and manage the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for Power BI projects, including new dashboards, report enhancements, and bug fixes, ensuring on-time and on-scope delivery
- Maintain and prioritize the BI project backlog in coordination with business stakeholders and BI leadership, ensuring clear requirements, acceptance criteria, and delivery timelines
- Develop and maintain project plans, sprint schedules, and status reporting across the active portfolio of BI work
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders to translate business needs into clear, actionable specifications for the BI development team
- Run regular stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to keep delivery on track and surface risks early
- Track and escalate blockers, dependencies, and risks proactively, driving resolution to keep projects moving forward
- Coordinate cross-functional dependencies across GTM Operations, Data Engineering, and business teams to ensure data readiness and alignment
- Monitor and report on delivery metrics including on-time delivery rate, backlog velocity, and cycle time to continuously improve team throughput
- Document project artifacts including requirements, timelines, status updates, and post-delivery summaries to support transparency and knowledge transfer
- Support the adoption of consistent project management practices across the BI team, including templates, workflows, and tooling standards
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of experience in technical project management, delivery management, or a related role supporting software or analytics teams
- Demonstrated track record of delivering projects on time in a structured, accountable manner
- Hands-on experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban) and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or similar)
- Working knowledge of BI or analytics platforms, data concepts, and reporting workflows—sufficient to engage meaningfully with technical teams and stakeholders
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and keep stakeholders aligned
- Comfort operating in fast-paced, evolving environments with shifting priorities and competing demands
Preferred (BI & GTM Context)
- Experience managing projects involving Power BI, Tableau, or other BI/analytics platforms
- Familiarity with data modeling concepts, DAX, SQL, or data pipeline workflows
- Experience working with Salesforce, Snowflake, or other GTM data platforms
- PMP, CSM, or other relevant project management certification
- Experience working in distributed or global teams, particularly across US and Asia-Pacific time zones
- Prior experience in a SaaS, enterprise software, or technology company environment
