We are seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Developer / BI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade dashboards and reporting solutions that support data-driven decision-making across Operations, Lean Management, Quality, and Supply Chain functions.
This role will be responsible for transforming complex operational data into scalable, user-friendly Power BI solutions that improve KPI visibility, reporting automation, and operational performance insights across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People metrics.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in Power BI, SQL, and data modeling with excellent stakeholder communication and business-facing experience
Job Description
Power BI Dashboard Development
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports aligned with business requirements
- Translate operational KPIs into intuitive and actionable visualizations
- Build scalable semantic data models integrating multiple enterprise data sources
- Develop advanced DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPI logic
- Implement Power Query transformations for data cleansing and shaping
- Ensure dashboards follow standardized UX/UI principles, naming conventions, and governance standards
- Develop mobile-friendly and role-based reporting experiences
Data Modeling & Integration
- Design and optimize star-schema data models and relational datasets
- Connect and integrate data from SQL databases, SAP/ERP systems, SharePoint, Excel, and SSOT platforms
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and extraction logic
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance against source systems
- Document data definitions, transformation logic, and KPI calculations
BI Ecosystem Optimization
- Analyze existing reporting ecosystems to identify performance gaps and dashboard redundancies
- Consolidate fragmented legacy reporting solutions into centralized enterprise BI platforms
- Improve dashboard performance, scalability, and refresh reliability
- Support data governance and reporting standardization initiatives
Automation & Deployment
- Publish and manage dashboards within Power BI Service
- Configure secure gateways and scheduled data refresh processes
- Build automation workflows using Microsoft Power Automate
- Develop notification, approval, and reporting subscription workflows
- Troubleshoot refresh failures, performance bottlenecks, and deployment issues
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Gather and clarify reporting requirements from Operations, Lean, and Quality stakeholders
- Translate business requirements into technical dashboard specifications
- Conduct dashboard review sessions and iterative enhancement cycles
- Present dashboard insights and reporting logic to non-technical audiences
- Support adoption and self-service reporting capabilities within business teams
Documentation & Knowledge Transfer
- Maintain comprehensive technical and functional documentation
- Create user guides, SOPs, and training materials
- Conduct training sessions and enablement workshops for internal users
Qualifications
- 6–8 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Engineering
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-level Power BI reporting solutions
- Experience working directly with regional or business-facing stakeholders
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field
Preferred Certifications
- Microsoft PL-300: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
- Other Microsoft BI or Azure certifications are advantageous
Technical Skills
Strong expertise in:
- Power BI
- Power Query

- SQL scripting
Hands-on experience integrating data from:
