Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead requirements discovery: Gather, analyze, and document business requirements while aligning with global stakeholders (e.g., US-based PM, China and Philippines operations teams).
  • Define solutions: Identify business pain points and propose end-to-end solutions, including workflows, wireframes/prototypes, and feature prioritization.
  • Manage product backlog: Translate business needs into well-defined epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate on technical feasibility: Work closely with engineering and architects to assess feasibility, define dependencies, and balance scope, timeline, and quality.
  • Drive cross-functional delivery: Coordinate across frontend, backend, data, QA, DevOps, UI/UX, and other product teams; manage risks, changes, and releases.
  • Facilitate Agile processes: Lead backlog grooming sessions and actively participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Support testing and releases: Oversee UAT, manage defect triage, prepare release notes, and ensure smooth post-release follow-ups.
  • Track performance and improvements: Monitor delivery and product metrics to continuously enhance processes and product quality.

Required Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in product ownership, business analysis, system implementation, or IT/enterprise consulting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong skills in requirements engineering (discovery, documentation, prioritization, stakeholder management).
  • Solid understanding of web applications and system integration, including APIs, databases, data flows, and authentication basics.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong English proficiency (spoken and written) for daily collaboration with global teams (US and China).
  • Fast learner with the ability to quickly adapt to new domains and technologies.
  • Self-motivated, accountable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred / Nice to Have
  • Experience with AI/ML products, OCR, or document/data extraction workflows.
  • Background in insurance, fintech, or enterprise SaaS.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, BI tools) and defining product metrics.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, Postman, and Swagger/OpenAPI.
