The Technical Business Analyst will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that data-related initiatives are well-defined, documented, and executed effectively. This role focuses on analyzing data requirements, supporting data integration, and helping design scalable and accurate data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Data Architects and Engineers to develop enterprise data models, defining structures, relationships, and hierarchies for effective data storage and retrieval.
- Map source system data elements to data warehouse structures, with clear transformation rules to ensure consistent and accurate data integration.
- Analyze existing data sources to assess data quality, integration requirements, and potential gaps for robust data warehouse solutions.
- Maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements, data dictionaries, and data mappings, to ensure transparency and clarity throughout the development cycle.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, providing updates, collecting feedback, and addressing concerns to ensure alignment and project success.
Required Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business processes into clear technical specifications.
- Proficiency in data analysis, including data integration and transformation techniques.
- Solid understanding of data modeling and data warehousing principles.
