Job Description

Required Skills:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in multiple digital delivery methodologies and frameworks (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
  • Strong understanding of business and technical analysis techniques
  • Proficiency in writing business, functional and process documentation
  • Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to interpret and analyse data and processes to provide strategic insights on projects and to improve the Business Analysis practice as a whole

Purpose:

As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions.

Working closely with business stakeholders and delivery teams (including Product Managers, Solution Architects, Developers and Project Managers) the role defines clear requirements to the solution development process that enables the delivery of effective solutions.

Accountabilities:

Business Analysis:

  • Work with business stakeholders to understand their current business processes and target objectives through conducting requirements workshops and interviews
  • Gather, analyse, document and validate business requirements, functional requirements (including user stories and acceptance criteria) and technical process flows
  • Collaborate with product managers, solution architects, developers and the wider project team to contribute to the development of effective solutions
  • Maintain alignment between business requirements and technology capabilities through quality documentation, presenting insights, proactive issue identification and collaborative problem solving.

People, Knowledge and Relationships:

  • Build internal relationships within your own team, division and foster key relationships across the firm
  • Serve as a role model in knowledge-sharing practises and effectively use technology to advance business analysis practices
  • Actively participate in the firm's training programs.
  • Assist with new starters, including buddy responsibilities and onboarding
  • Provide regular and timely feedback to others
