Tax Compliance OfficerKey Responsibilities
- Ensure that all tax returns are prepared and filed accurately, on time, and in full compliance with applicable government regulations.
- Conduct periodic tax compliance reviews for the organization and its affiliates to identify risks and ensure adherence to tax laws.
- Serve as the primary resource person for all tax-related matters of the organization and its affiliates.
- Interpret tax laws, regulations, and procedures, and proactively assess their implications and impact on business operations.
- Handle the filing, renewal, and cancellation of POS permits.
- Manage the computation, filing, and payment of local business taxes for all stores on a quarterly or annual basis.
- Prepare and submit required documents in response to Letters of Authority and other tax audits issued by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).
- Oversee and manage the organization's tax obligations, including:
- Income Tax Returns (quarterly and annual)
- Value-Added Tax (VAT) Returns (monthly, quarterly, and annual)
- Final Taxes (monthly, quarterly, and annual)
- Withholding Taxes Compensation and Expanded (monthly, quarterly, and annual)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in accounting and tax management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant computer systems.
