Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Accounting Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and complete accounting records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and schedules for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
  • Monitor and manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions.
  • Prepare internal financial reports to support management decision-making.
  • Assist in accounting entries, reconciliations, and schedules as required.
  • Ensure proper documentation, filing, and record retention of financial transactions.

Tax and Compliance Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file BIR tax returns, including VAT, withholding taxes, and income tax.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with BIR regulations and other government requirements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, accountants, tax consultants, and government agencies on compliance matters.
  • Monitor changes in tax regulations and assess their impact on company operations.
  • Maintain organized tax and accounting documentation.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documents and explanations.

Controls and Process Improvement

  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies.
  • Identify process gaps, compliance risks, and operational inefficiencies.
  • Recommend and help implement improvements to accounting and compliance procedures.
  • Support ad-hoc finance and compliance tasks as needed.

  • WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or any related field
    • 23 years of experience in accounting, taxation, or finance.
    • Basic knowledge of accounting principles, journal entries, and reconciliations.
    • Strong familiarity with BIR regulations and tax filing procedures (VAT, withholding taxes, income tax).
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
    • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks.
    • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
