Role Description The Tax Accountant is a full-time, remote role responsible for delivering high-quality tax and accounting services to clients. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring tax compliance for individuals and businesses. The role involves communicating with clients to gather necessary information. The Tax Accountant will also stay current with tax legislation and accounting standards to proactively identify issues and opportunities for clients.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Tax Preparation.
• Candidates should possess solid abilities in Accounting and preparing and reviewing Financial Statements.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA or equivalent) is beneficial.
• Experience working in public practice or a similar accounting environment, with exposure to individual and business tax in Australia.
• Proficiency with accounting and tax software, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a remote setting.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, sound analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to ethical professional conduct.
