Our client is establishing their first Philippines-based hire to support their Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth teams. You'll headhunt qualified teachers, build talent pools across all specializations, and work Australian Eastern Standard Time hours alongside consultants across three Australian offices.
This role combines proactive sourcing with candidate screening and relationship building, where you'll leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, Seek Talent Search, and social media channels to find and engage teachers who match live school vacancies.
Key responsibilities
- Headhunt Qualified Teachers: Use LinkedIn Recruiter, Seek Talent Search, and candidate database to identify and engage teachers
- Daily Talent Search: Work Seek Talent Search daily, re-engaging teachers who match live school vacancies
- Job Advertising: Write and post job adverts across boards and social channels, tracking performance and refreshing underperforming content
- Social Media Presence: Build presence on LinkedIn, Facebook teacher groups, Instagram, and TikTok to attract teacher candidates
- Phone Screening: Screen candidates on qualifications, teacher registration, right to work, availability, and strongest year levels/subjects
- Registration Support: Guide suitable candidates through registration pack including digital interview and reference checks, or interview by phone directly
- Candidate Summaries: Prepare punchy candidate summaries and shortlists for Australian consultants
- Talent Pool Growth: Grow talent pools across Primary, Middle, Secondary, and Special Needs categories
- Channel Innovation: Find new sourcing channels including teacher forums, referral campaigns, university partnerships, and overseas markets
- Database Organization: Organize applicants so any team member can quickly find the right teacher
- Target Achievement: Hit weekly sourcing, screening, and shortlist targets
Candidate requirements
- Sourcing Experience: Experience as a Resourcer, Sourcing Specialist, Talent Acquisition Associate, or similar, ideally supporting Australian, UK, or US markets
- LinkedIn Recruiter Expertise: Hands-on LinkedIn Recruiter experience (essential requirement)
- Social Media Sourcing: Confident using social media platforms as sourcing tools
- Job Board Familiarity: Experience with Seek and Seek Talent Search, or other job boards
- English Excellence: Excellent written and spoken English (critical requirement - will be sourcing Australian teachers by phone, so spoken clarity is essential)
- High-Volume Outreach: Comfortable with high-volume outreach and phone-based work
- Innovative Mindset: Curious and inventive about exploring new sourcing channels
- Self-Motivation: Able to work independently with a team based in another country
- Schedule Flexibility: Able to work Australian Eastern Standard Time business hours
Must-have requirements
- Hands-on LinkedIn Recruiter experience
- Excellent written and spoken English

- Sourcing or resourcing experience, ideally into the Australian, UK or US market
- Comfortable with high-volume outreach and phone work
Desirable (but not required):
- Education sector recruitment experience
- Understanding of AITSL skills assessment or Australian teacher registration processes
- Experience with JobAdder, Recruit Wizard, or Bullhorn
