The Medical City South Luzon is looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. This role will own and manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle from talent attraction, sourcing and candidate selection to interview coordination, while ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new hires. You will also serve as a strategic partner to hiring managers, providing hiring insights, expertise in candidate sourcing methodologies, and ensuring an efficient and effective recruitment process.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Own the end-to-end sourcing, screening, and selection process for critical, hard-to-fill, and Manager-and-up roles, using databases, social media, and other sourcing channels.
- Lead volume recruitment activities for nursing and allied health roles, balancing speed and quality across multiple vacancies.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for management and hard-to-fill professional roles using established talent attraction and engagement tools.
- Validate candidate qualifications through research, phone interviews, and portfolio review.
- Maintain responsive relationships with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Contribute to the design and execution of recruitment campaigns.
- Act as the primary point of contact for hiring managers — aligning on job scoping, candidate requirements, and process updates.
- Coordinate accurate, timely completion of pre-employment and onboarding requirements.
- Coordinate and facilitate New Employees Orientation, ensuring a smooth and consistent onboarding experience.
An effective Talent Acquisition Specialist must possess the following skills:
- Sourcing and talent mapping - Analyze candidate demographics and preferences; recommend sourcing channels and strategies
- Screening and assessment – Evaluate candidate fit through structured behavioral and competency-based interviews
- Social Media and Employer Branding- Draft messaging and content; source and engage candidates through platforms such as LinkedIn, Jobstreet, Indeed, and similar platforms
- Candidate Relationship Management – Deliver a responsive and engaging candidate experience from first contact through offer
- Stakeholder Engagement – Act as first point of contact for hiring managers and employees regarding Talent Acquisition matters; align on requirements and address concerns
- Communication Skills – Strong written and verbal communication; able to clearly convey requirements, provide feedback and updates to candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders at all levels
- Organizational Skills – Ability to manage multiple, concurrent requisitions and tasks while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
Tools and Systems
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications (e.g. Excel, Powerpoint)
- Working knowledge of HRIS platforms and Applicant Tracking Systems
Qualifications
- Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Human Resources or related field
- At least one (1) year of working experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably with exposure to high-volume recruitment, preferably with exposure in healthcare, manufacturing or BPO industries
