The Qualifications We Seek

  • 3 years of experience serving as a help desk escalation point for workstation and Office 365-related issues
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent work experience

Required Experience

  • Proficiency in managing Windows infrastructure, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
  • Knowledge of Office 365 administration, including Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Azure Active Directory, Azure AD Connect, Security, and Compliance
  • Familiarity with Exchange Online mail flow, spam filtering, and phishing awareness programs
  • Knowledge of Office 365 Security and Compliance Center solutions, including Data Loss Prevention, Retention Policies, eDiscovery, Threat Exploration, and Incident Response
  • Ability to develop PowerShell scripts for on-premises servers and Office 365 services
  • Proficiency in identity and access management using Azure AD, SAML SSO, and RBAC
  • Knowledge of virtualized server infrastructure, preferably VMware
  • Familiarity with centralized antivirus management solutions
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in enterprise or multinational environments
  • Implementing new IT systems and technologies
  • Administering Azure environments, including security, storage, networking, and backups
  • Administering Linux environments and developing Bash scripts
  • Implementing compliance solutions, including PCI-DSS, GDPR, ISO standards, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Retention Policies
  • Administering Microsoft Intune, including AutoPilot and Configuration and Compliance Policies

Your Daily Tasks

  • Design, deploy, and manage the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems
  • Administer on-premises and cloud environments while ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and systems into existing infrastructure
  • Perform capacity planning and resource scaling to support business requirements
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure continuous operation and optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues across systems and networks
  • Administer Office 365 services, including Licensing, Azure Active Directory, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, and Azure AD Connect
  • Administer multi-domain environments, including Windows Servers, Active Directory, and Group Policy
  • Manage Exchange Online mail flow, mailboxes, and spam filtering solutions
  • Monitor Office 365 service health, security status, and system alerts
  • Enforce enterprise standards for technology architecture, change control, and IT governance
  • Provide Level 3 support for help desk escalation issues
  • Apply security patches to workstations, servers, and applications in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate documentation of systems, infrastructure, and dependencies
  • Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements
  • Partner with Human Resources and business leaders to develop implementation, communication, and training strategies
  • Investigate reported issues and perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting
  • Support compliance initiatives related to PCI-DSS, GDPR, ISO standards, Data Loss Prevention, and Data Retention requirements
  • Automate administrative tasks through PowerShell scripting
  • Configure Azure and cloud networking environments based on best practices
  • Partner with third-party vendors and solution providers on break-fix activities, root cause investigations, and maintenance requirements
  • Assist in planning, testing, and implementing disaster recovery strategies and backup solutions
  • Ensure systems can be restored efficiently following failures to minimize downtime and data loss

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Maintain 99.9% or higher uptime across all managed systems
  • Adhere to change management best practices and quality standards for system and environment changes
  • Meet agreed service levels for incident response and resolution
  • Maintain accurate system documentation as projects, enhancements, and incident solutions are transitioned into production
