Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer - L3 (MSP) to join a growing Managed Services team supporting PH and Australian clients. He/She will act as technical escalation lead while also delivering IT deployments, onboarding, and platform improvements across multiple client environments. This is a hands-on senior role within an MSP, combining deep technical troubleshooting with responsibility for endpoint, cloud, and infrastructure deployments. You will work closely with the Service Desk, NOC, and Operations teams to resolve high-impact issues, lead escalations, and execute well-designed IT deployments for new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

L3 Escalations & Incident Management

  • Serve as the final escalation point for complex and recurring issues
  • Diagnose and resolve high-impact P1–P3 incidents
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive actions
  • Coordinate with Microsoft and third-party vendors as needed
  • Provide technical guidance to L1/L2 engineers

IT Deployments & Client Onboarding

  • Lead deployments across:
  • Microsoft 365 tenant setup and onboarding
  • Intune & Autopilot endpoint deployments
  • Application and policy rollouts

Azure resources (VMs, networking, backup, monitoring)

  • Support client onboarding, migrations, and environment standardization
  • Ensure all deployments are secure, documented, and supportable

Microsoft Cloud & Endpoint Management

  • Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and Defender
  • Manage hybrid environments (on-prem AD + Azure AD)
  • Implement compliance, security policies, and Conditional Access
  • Resolve complex endpoint issues (Windows/macOS) and device enrollment
  • Support Defender integration and remediation

Azure & Infrastructure Support

  • Manage Azure services (VMs, storage, networking, backup)
  • Support hybrid cloud environments
  • Recommend improvements for performance, security, and cost

Networking & Infrastructure

  • Handle escalations involving firewalls, VPNs, routing, VLANs, and DNS

Problem Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Conduct RCA for recurring issues and own problem resolutions
  • Identify system gaps across infrastructure and security
  • Contribute to automation, standardization, and optimization initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or any related field
  • MSP experience is required (minimum 1–3 years)
  • Strong background in handling L3 support / escalations
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Microsoft Azure (VMs, networking, backup)
  • Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams)
  • Intune / Endpoint Manager (MDM, Autopilot)
  • Microsoft Defender / Endpoint Security
  • Entra ID (Azure AD, Conditional Access, MFA)
  • Solid networking fundamentals (VPN, DNS, firewalls)
  • Strong communication skills (client-facing role)
